Celebrate with Walker Miller. August marks the beginning of our 50th year of business in one of America’s best construction markets- Central Florida.
Walker Miller Equipment Company Inc., started in 1961 by Walker G. Miller and W. K. Herold and originally named Hiway Industrial Sales, Inc. The Name was changed in 1962 to Herold & Miller Equipment Company, Inc. Walker Miller relocated to its present location in 1971 and the name was changed to Walker Miller Equipment Company, Inc., in 1973.
Connie Miller, the eldest daughter of Walker Miller joined the business in 1980 as corporate secretary and worked in all aspects of its management prior to succeeding her father as president in 1993.
Shortly after becoming president of Walker Miller, Connie Miller obtained W/MBE certification for the business with the State, County and City governments.
